AGNIPATH allows patriotic and motivated youth to serve in the Armed Forces for a period of four years. The Union Cabinet on 14 June had approved a recruitment scheme for Indian youth to serve in the Armed Forces. The scheme is called AGNIPATH and the youth selected under this scheme will be known as Agniveers.
Agniveer registration portal will be integrated with digital seva portal to facilitate the youth of India getting enrolled under the scheme through advocacy and awareness.
Note: Each VLE shall receive Rs. 100(inclusive GST) for this activity subject to verification.
